New new new

Love fall. It is my birthday season. It is the time of year that I purge the old, welcome the new. It's almost a nesting season for me. And I'm all about new-ness. New friends, new things to do, new things to learn. And last weekend, so I did. I took the Crayon Box Jacket workshop from Chris Blysma at Knitpicky. What fun! I'm a little hard on myself with new processes, so I'm learning to love the process and product. I have all of 3 squres done, but I'm thrilled with the way it is going.

I did finish a hat for my honey for his birthday(tuesday) and it fits him. I made it out of this great Brooksfarm wool - Solana and it's superwash, which is great. Will work well for his backpacking trip happening this weekend.

No other great progress on Christmas knitting. I'm hoping to finish up some of what I have by next weekend.

Happy fall!

I'm so glad the hat fit! What a relief, huh? Good luck with the Christmas knitting :)
